Some prominent conservatives opposed to President Donald Trump argued on Tuesday that there should be no more debates after last night’s event, calling it a “disgrace.” During the debate, Trump told the far-right group Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by.” Supporters of the group praised the comment on social media and shared a version of their logo with his words on it. Biden poked fun at Kimmel’s Mets hat and brought out a hat of his own. Kimmel teased Biden about the Phillies hat, as his Mets are a division rival....

Biden was speaking in Arlington, Virginia in support of Democratic Governor Terry McAuliffe, who is seeking a second term in November of this year. He directly referenced Ivey as part of his discussion of the pandemic. On Thursday, Ivey, who is a Republican, told reporters that it was time to start “blaming the unvaccinated folks” for the rise in COVID cases. Her state has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the nation at just 33....
